I work as the managing editor of Country Roads Magazine, writing, photographing, and coordinating stories that cover food, art, history, and other cultural offerings in south Louisiana and Mississippi. I freelance in both writing and photography, and I wield a Canon 5D Mk III in my ongoing obsessive chronicle of life in Louisiana.
Weekends find me cooking (hence my blog title) as well as snapping pictures, sipping Community Coffee, singing songs to my two black cats, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
